Banana Pudding Pie
This recipe is so EASY! I can not take the credit for this idea I have to give it to my wonderful husband who LOVES Banana Pudding. You will need to gather:
- Banana Puddin (I just used the Jell-O Banana Pudding dry mix)
- Graham Cracker Pie Crust
- Vanilla Wafers
- Cool Whip
1st Pour the Puddin into the Pie Crust
Next, top the pie with wafers.
Then Pour the Cool Whip evenly over the wafer layer to top it off.
After that I just took a spoon and gently spiked the top.
Hope you enjoy!

Candy Coated Glasses with Sprinkles
This pin is now one of my favorites! This was so cool and worked real well. You will need:
- Your Favorite Sprinkles
- Glasses (Shot Glasses, Wine Glasses, or Shot Glasses would be very cute too)
- Your Favorite Morsels or Almond Bark
- A Bowl
- And a Double Boiler
Place your Almond Bark in the boiler and melt it down. This took me about 4-5 minutes. Be careful not to burn it!
After it is all melted down turn your glass upside down and dip it into the melted candy, then immediately dip into the sprinkles.
Then place your glass back into the freezer to cool. For about 5 Be careful not to let the rim touch the other glasses or anything else in there.
When 5 minutes are over take out you glasses and enjoy with your favorite beverage or shake. Just a tip try not to let the liquid your pouring into the glass to touch your sprinkled rim. It can cause the sprinkles to run and discolor your beverage.
Rick and I enjoyed our shakes with the frosted rim. I made some extra that are still in the freezer to the kids. I will definitely be making this with the kiddos they would probably love the dipping part. Just a warning don't be to hasty to bit into the rim and eat your candy rim. Rick and I were so excited and we almost chipped our teeth on the glasses trying to bit the candy off.
Enjoy!!

I just had to add these photos. I gave Jesse his frosted rim with chocolate milk tonight. And this is what he looked like when he was done.
(Granted this is not what he usually looks like, he insisted on making silly faces)
(Here he is with a big smiley face. Notice the red uni brow mark,
and the two marks by his lips the picture doesn't do it justice. But I guess he
really liked the chocolate milk.)
Waffle Brownies
These are a popular hit in our house. They are simple quick and fun to eat.
What you’ll need:
- Waffle Iron
- Brownie Mix (and ingredients to make the brownies)
- And Spray Oil
Please note that you will be using the recipe forcake like brownies! If you don’t make cake like brownies and you make the fudge recipe, your brownies will look like this,
I forgot to do this step tonight and half of my batch of waffle brownies become these crumble brownies.
To make sure you don’t get crumble brownies simply add an extra egg to the recipe. Which is what I did half way through, which by the way does not ruin the recipe at all. It makes the brownies actually taste richer.
Step One: Pug in waffle iron.
Step Two: Spray oil.
Step Three: Mix brownie mix according to the CAKE LIKE BROWNIES recipe.
Step Four: Wait for the little light to go off.
Step Five: Carefully open lid and use a plastic fork take waffle brownies off of the waffle iron.
Step Six: Garnish with chocolate syrup and ice cream and enjoy!
Now ½ my batch was in crumbles which doesn’t mean they don’t still taste good so I looked around at some more stuff I had and I invented what I call “Diabetic Coma in a Jar”.
You’ll need:
- Crumbled Cake or Brownies
- Icing, Ice Cream or Whipped Cream (Depends on when you will eat it. I’m saving my in the fridge to eat later so I used icing)
- Chocolate Syrup
- Your Favorite Morsels
- Favorite Nuts
- And Mini Marshmallows (I didn’t have any of these but they would be a great addition)
Step One: Put a Layer of brownie or cake down
Step Two: Then a layer of Chocolate Syrup
Step Three: After the brownie/cake start layering everything else.
Step Four: If you have room start your layering all over until to top.
Step Five: Eat and enjoy or seal lid and save for later.
Crock Pot Chicken Teriyaki
Here is a recipe I got over from http://www.ringaroundtherosies.net
Ingredients:
- Medium - Large Bag of Carrots
- 1 Red Onion into Large Chunks
- 2 Lg Cans of Pineapple (Undrained)
- 4 Garlic Cloves
- 4 Chicken Breasts
- 1 Cup Teriyaki Sauce
Split Between 2 bags. Lay flat then freeze
Directions for bags:
Add an additional 1/4 cup sauce. Cook low 6-7 hrs serve over hot rice.
This recipe SURPRISED me! As I prepared this meal days in advance and froze it, I actually had my doubts. I thought there was either to much sauce or not enough. To much garlic not enough chicken and just could not see the flavor tasting good. I was WRONG. It was fabulous! Granted I did 5 chicken breasts instead of 4 and I put in a little less carrots. But it was delish! I loved just grabbing it out of the freezer and tossing it in the crock pot to eat later for dinner. I did not follow directions and split between two bags. I put it all in a 2.5 gallon bag... I WILL NOT DO THAT AGAIN. I had a time getting the frozen goods into that crock pot. Learned my lesson well! At ringaroundtherosies they have a list of all different crock pot dishes you can freeze for later. I will be collecting these ingrediants and have a mass freezing day in the future. YIPEEE!
Jesse is cute
